“General” DOT/TC Qualification Process for current clients
Client sends application to Arrowhead.- Arrowhead performs contract review.
- Arrowhead accepts the application.
- Client supplies design drawings, calculations, test and inspection data, etc.
- Arrowhead offers feedback to client as applicable and facilitates problem resolution through inspector testing.
- Arrowhead’s Quality Engineer reviews qualification test and inspection data and facilitates resolution of any issues with the client.
- Arrowhead’s Director of Quality Assurance grants final approval to Client’s application and generates a Certificate/Type Approval record.
- Arrowhead sends a copy of approval to Client and assists in Client’s registration with competent authorities.
“General” DOT/TC Qualification Process for “NEW” clients
Arrowhead conducts a Pre-Audit of manufacturing facility. Client sends application to Arrowhead for contract review and acceptance. Client supplies design drawings, calculations, test and inspection data, etc.- Arrowhead conducts Quality Engineering Review.
- Arrowhead offers feedback to client as applicable and facilitates problem resolution through inspector testing.
Arrowhead’s Quality Engineer reviews qualification test and inspection data and facilitates resolution of any issues with the Client. Arrowhead’s Director of Quality Assurance grants final approval to Client’s application and generates a Certificate/Type Approval record. Arrowhead sends a copy of approval to Client and assists in Client’s registration with competent authorities. Applicant and Arrowhead make applications to USDOT or Transport Canada U.S. DOT/TC conducts an onsite inspection of manufacturing facility and provides feedback as applicable. U.S. DOT/TC issues approval and registration.
