BREXIT Update
Arrowhead Industrial Services Limited (AISL) is committed to providing its clients with a seamless transition in the event of a no-deal Brexit. It has therefore initiated two activities to ensure this. We have registered a business in another EU member state and applied for appropriate accreditation as a Notified Body but this process is exceedingly slow and may not be complete by 31st October 2019 which is the current planned date for the UK to leave the EU. Consequently, AISL Type Approval Certificates and IS body Authorization Certificates are no longer valid after this date.
So, we are progressing an alternative, this involves working with partner companies in EU 27 countries who are willing to transfer AISL type approval certificates into their systems and to reissue them under their Notified Body identification number. Arrowhead will act as their sub-contractor to carry out inspections. The only real difference you will see is that you will use a different 4-digit identification number during this temporary period until Arrowhead obtains its new Notified Body status.
An agreement has been signed covering PED Type Approvals and the first transfers are being arranged. Clients will be invited soon to agree to the arrangement and to submit their PED Type Approvals for transfer.
Arrangements for TPED are being agreed and we expect to have a similar agreement is place before the end of August.

Information Release
To: All clients and interested parties
Following the referendum on 23rd June 2016 the UK public has recommended to the UK government to initiate proceedings to withdraw from membership of the European Union.
Despite this recommendation there will be no change to the status of Arrowhead Industrial Services Limited as a Type A Notified Body in the foreseeable future. AISL shall continue to deliver to all clients the inspection and certification services that they currently enjoy.
